Hatmadders Return/Exchange Policy
At Hatmadders, we pride ourselves in giving the best service for our customers.
If you wish to return or exchange items, please refer to the following rules:
1) All returns and exchanges must be accompanied with an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization)
number labeled on the box. To obtain an RMA number, contact us within 20 days of the original shipping date (Date when our item was shipped from our warehouse). We may be reached at returns.exchanges@Hatmadders.com or call 1-212-775-7077 to obtain an RMA number.
2) We must receive items for return or exchange within 30 days of original shipping date. If we receive it afterwards, the item will be shipped back at the customer’s expense. Exceptions will be made for international shipments.
3) No “Closeout” items, no “Sale” items may be returned or exchanged.
4) Items must be returned to us in un-used condition and in their original packaging (hang tags, manufacturer’s box, packaging paper, plastic bags, etc.). Please be sure to package well. Items showing any signs of wear such as removal of tags, finger prints, makeup stains, sweat stains, reshaping, scuffs on sloes or leather, or removal of accessories are not eligible for return or exchange. Do not add Styrofoam pellets to the box.
5) Ensure that the box used to ship is in good condition. If the box that we sent you with your order is weak or damaged, please use a new box to ship.
6) Fill out our Return/Exchange form and place it in the box to ship with your return/exchange.
7) Ensure that RMA # is clearly labeled on the box before shipping.
8) Customer covers all shipping costs unless wrong item was shipped or item was damaged upon receipt.If this is the case, you must contact us within a week of the delivery date. Please purchase insurance on the box through “Mail Carrier“. This allows us to help track the package if any problems occur. We are not responsible for items damaged in shipping.

We will inspect the returned order and refund your money or send your exchange within 1-2 weeks. Please allow 4-7 weeks for special orders. Exchanges: Exchanges are shipped via ground within 7 days depending on the availability of the item. We will not charge additional shipping for exchanges. There is a restocking fee for standard orders over $300.00. For these fees, please see Returns below.
Returns on special orders: Special orders manufactured specifically for the customer are NOT returnable and NOT exchangeable.
Return on standard orders valued $300.00 and up: All “Standard Orders” returns valued over $300.00 are subject to a 20% fee for returns and exchanges. Delivery charges will NOT be refunded.
Holiday Returns: All holiday orders placed between November 1 and December 25th qualify for a returns approval, through January 15th. After January 25th we will no longer accept any holiday returns or exchanges. Holiday returns are subject to the standard return policy.
Cancellation Information: Your credit card will be billed at time of purchase. If you wish to cancel your order, please notify us within 24 hours of the purchase. After 24 hours we will only be able to cancel the order if it has not been shipped. If you wish to cancel you order after 24 hours have past, a $15.00 or 15% fee, whichever is greater, will apply to all orders.
